Developed as an exciting extension of the MLB / USA Baseball Fun At Bat program, the Detroit Tigers Fun At Bat Summer Tour is a series of five free interactive clinics taking place this summer across Detroit for children aged 4-12 years old (varies slightly per location). Partnered with Bally Sports Detroit and local youth organizations, the Summer Tour focuses on character development, functional movement, active play, and fun. Entry-level stations at each clinic consist of hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, a baseball discussion and a whiffle ball game.

Each event location is aligned with a host youth organization. Community hosts for this summer tour are the Hype Athletics, Southfield Parks & Recreation, YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs of SE Michigan, and Clark Park Coalition. Maximum registration for each event is 100 children; managed directly by the host organization. Up to 500 children will experience the 2023 Fun At Bat Summer Tour.
